We Can Meet Your Automotive Needs!

Computer Diagnostics

Utilizing computer diagnostics helps us to identify your vehicles troubles quickly.  The less time we spend figuring out what’s wrong, the faster we have you back on the road, saving you both time and money.

Safety Inspection

Our 22 step Safety Inspection is completed on every vehicle.  This free service is done to give you peace of mind that before your vehicle leaves our shop it has been thoroughly checked it out.

Windshield Repairs and Replacements

The windshield provides structural integrity to your vehicle in the event of an accident.  Columbia Auto Collision Center has the experience to meet and exceed all standards in assuring your safety with proper adhesives and windshield installation.   Improperly installed windshields can result in less structural protection in the event of a head on collision or rollover.  Windshield repair or replacement depends on the size, location and severity of the damage. Usually quarter sized rock chips and very small cracks can be repaired.  If the chip appears directly in the driver’s line of vision, replacement is necessary. The repair process leaves minor distortions in the glass.  Windshield Repair will stop the chip from spreading, but don’t wait; excessive driving can cause the chip to become to large to repair.

Tune-ups

Improperly tuned vehicles will result in a loss of performance and fuel economy. Our Tune Up consists of cleaning fuel injectors, replacing dirty air filters, fuel filters, corroded spark plugs, and PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) valves if they are no longer working at maximum efficiency.  Depending on the mileage of your vehicle, spark plug wires may need to be replaced also for top efficiency.

Oil and Filter Change

Keep your engine running clean and protected by changing your vehicle’s oil and filter every 3,000 miles.  At Columbia Auto Collision Center, you’ll receive our 22 point Safety Inspection free with every oil change.  Plus we’ll check and adjust your vehicles tire pressure, transmission fluid, differential fluid, transfer case fluid, power steering fluid, windshield washer fluid and battery water (excluding sealed batteries).  Plus you’ll receive a $7 Off Oil Change Coupon with every oil change.

Tire Replacements, Rotating and Balancing

Getting the most from your tire requires proper care and maintenance.  Besides proper tire pressure (printed on the sidewall of your tire), Columbia Auto Collision Center can rotate and balance your tires every 5,000 miles, giving you maximum wear.   And should you need new tires, we are extremely competitive with our tire replacement prices.  Our expert tire technicians can tell you which tire is right for your typical driving conditions and habits.

Brake Service

Regular brake inspections should be part of your vehicle’s ongoing maintenance, helping to ensure you and your family’s safety and reliability. We recommend that you have them inspected at least once a year or if your brake pedal goes low to the floor or feels spongy, brake warning light stays on, or you hear squealing or grinding noise when you brake.  Newer automobiles are equipped with an ABS system (anti-lock braking system).  Anti-lock braking systems are designed to prevent your brakes from locking up when the need to brake suddenly and quickly.  At Columbia Auto Collision Center auto repair center, our mechanics are trained to diagnose and repair all braking systems.  Don’t depend on just any repair shop to assure your braking reliability.  Call Columbia Auto Collision Center today.

Mufflers and Exhaust Systems

A vehicle’s muffler and exhaust system is designed to reduce noise and reduce harmful emissions from entering the atmosphere. At Columbia Auto Collision Center we will keep your vehicle running quietly and protect you and the environment from unnecessary pollutants.

Steering, Suspensions and Alignments

Does your car pull to one side or another?  Sometimes hitting big pot holes, or just everyday wear and tear can disrupt your vehicle’s alignment.  No matter what type of suspension your vehicle has, from axel repairs to CV joint repair and replacement, Columbia Auto Collision Center has the know-how and the equipment to diagnose and repair any problem.

Fuel System Service

When you press the gas pedal a couple of things immediately happen: the gas pedal controls the throttle valve, telling your vehicle how much air to intake, and the vehicles computer tells the fuel system how much fuel to deliver to the engine.  The farther you push down, the more air and fuel is delivered to the engine.  Then the spark plug ignites the mixture and a controlled burn powers your vehicle.  When we perform fuel system maintenance, we replace the fuel filter and add special fuel additives to clean intake valves, remove fuel varnish build up, and clean cylinder head deposits.  Keeping your vehicles fuel system running well will make your fuel economy better.

Coolant System Maintenance and Repairs

The most common roadside breakdown is from a vehicle overheating.  Overheating can cause severe damage to your vehicle’s engine and transmission.  Coolant (anti-freeze) protects your engine from overheating and from freezing.  Over time, your vehicle’s coolant loses many of its protective properties.  Your coolant system can start to clog from the corrosion of the radiator and debris from decomposing hoses.   This can cause your system to clog and result in an unexpected breakdown.  Manufacturers recommend that you change your vehicle’s coolant fluid annually, and most suggest flushing your entire coolant system once every two years.  Having your vehicle cared for by Columbia Auto Collision Center will help you eliminate unwanted roadside troubles.

Emission Repairs

So your vehicle failed the emissions test.  It could be an EGR Valve or an inoperable oxygen sensor that is causing your vehicle to release unwanted exhaust gasses from the tailpipe.  Don’t worry.  Columbia Auto Collision Center can quickly determine why your vehicle failed and have you back on the road – keeping you and our environment’s air cleaner.

Heating and Air Conditioning Service and Repairs

Your vehicle’s heating and cooling system is designed to not only keep you comfortable, but to ensure safety as well.  For example, defrosting your vehicle’s windshield in the winter months.  Call Columbia Auto Collision Center if your experiencing any of the following heating or cooling related issues:

    • A/C or heating system doesn’t adjust your vehicles cabin temperature to desired levels
    • Fan/blower does not work or is louder than usual
    • Vents aren’t blowing air or defroster doesn’t work
    • Engine makes loud noises, stalls or idles roughly when heat or A/C is engaged
    • Vehicle runs hot or overheats when heat or A/C is on
    • Water inside the vehicle floor
